Poster

I chose to create a poster advertising a Sam Adams concert, who is a gifted hip hop artist, i chose him because i like his music.

Scanography

When moving your hand across the scanner it scans the part of the image that is in line with the scanner light and camera so when moving your hand it streches the image.

I shut the scanner top to scan this image of me and my dad which was an actual paper photograph.

Scanography is scanning certain objects on a scanner which enables the ability to take a picture without a regular camera getting a solid crisp image all the time. To take this picture i had to leave the scanner top open.

Skin Softening

I removed the blemishes and skin flaws from this picture by using the patch tool. And i softened the skin by adding many layers and then erasing the softening from everyhting but her skin.

Portraits

I used the ink sketch method for this picture of my dog.

I used the custom shape method for this picture of my dog.

I used the cross processing method for this image of my cat.

Photo Aging And Framing

Photo Aging is something that litterally makes the photo look old and passed down. I added rips, blotches, and changed the color of the photo from the original photo that i took.

David Hockney

I duplicated David Hockney's work which consistes of making one big image out of mny smaller photos of that full image. I made a flower.

Reflections

I chose to create an animal relection where the girrafes neck is reflected on the left and right sides.

Carter Mountain

I took these pictures at my house becasue i missed the carter mountain field trip but the one i did in black and white flower is my favorite photo i took.

Dafont

Dafont is a website that allows one to download fonts. I chose a font and mixed pictures together witha plane crashing into a corn field and typed Crash Down.

Favorite Photographer Video

The program that i used to make the video was called movie maker, i chose Maciej Duczynski whose work intrigues me becasue of the distinctive style he has with boats and water and nature. I believe his work is superb.

Lights

I used the Pen Tool to create this image and then changed the colors of it using the gradient tool.

I took the photo of a snowboarder and added effects using the pen tool to create the glowing lines and the word soul.

Collage

The top image is my recreation of the picture below it. The original photo is by Ann Baldwin, i chose the same type of old eerie scheme, with a dark ghost looking figure, and old structures.

Shapes

I found shapes of circles the most. It is easy to find shapes in anything. You just have to look at it the right way.

Typography

This is my typography. Typography is where you create a picture using only letters. I made a lacrosse player.

Visual Puns

A Visual Pun is a play on words, such as a SpiderMonkey. (image 1) Pancake(Imge 2) and a Hammerhead shark (Image 3)

Jumping off the page

I made the image seem to pop out by putting the bird off the page a bit and giving them shadows by going to filter gaussian blur, after duplicating the layer and painting it black.

Macro Images Sharpened

The Macro function on a camera lets you take a picture very close up and still have it be clear. Sharpening them allows for more contrast to the image by spacing the colors with white so the colors seem to pop out more.

Downtown Mall Picture Hunt

This was my best Jefferson Theature Pictures

And this was my best Paramount picture.

To these past pictures I took them at the Jefferson Theature and the Paramount. I used the editing tools hue and satuartion and color balnce to edit them. (Image-Adjustments-Hue/Saturation) Then editing the brightness, vibrance and many other things.

To this Picture i used the same image but then edited it using the cloning tool to hide many things in the picure. See if you can find the differneces.

I did the same thing here using the clone and masking tools.

Shooting Assignment Rule of Thirds

I Took these photos in my house and used the rule of thirds, it was not that hard to take them using the rule of thirds because all that you need to do is take them with the most important part of the image at the left or right where the imaginary lines intersect.
